Besides, what’s more appropriate than a post about soshi for the comeback stage of Imaginaction? Actually I already write a draft of this post since 2 months ago, but most of you know how busy I was these past few months, thanks to my newly earned job. Yes, I wrote this post at 28^th June, celebrating the one and only Seo Joo Hyun 22^nd birthday! Yayy!!!!

Hmmm, you all know to well about her already, since there are already heavy doses of admiration and compliment from me in this blog. So lets not go over that and go straight to the birthday wishes.

At first, just like the most male Seomates out there, I have this ‘ultra hyper delusion, which I want to have a girlfriend like seo hyun, and I’m gonna marry her one day. So I always look at her as unreachable crush, a destination, an idol, an unspoken love. But during these 2 years of k-pop infection, that feeling has changed. The ‘boy-girl love’ has transformed into a compassionate care (not that I know is this term exist). Watching her grow from one MV to another, from shy girl in Into the New World, to the shy gorgeus lady in Time Machine, I consider her like a little sister that I never had the chance to have. I’m really happy when she got an award, when she post a selca, and damn I was worried when I saw the sexy concept for I got a boy, more worried that she’ll get a role in a drama (I’m worried about the possibility of the cursed kissing scene), that feeling of anxiety you have as abig brother, watching his little sister keep growing and distant herself from you , a happy yet sad and lonely feeling.

Despite all that, You’re still and always will be the number 1 girl in the world Hyun. I start to eat vegetables, eat less junk food, always wear seatbelt, and apply many more upright lifestyle thanks to you. Whatever happens, I’ll support you till the end, whatever you;ll become,  A soshi, a generous cooking Mom, sweet potato farmer,  or a UN Secretary General. 😀

1. ‘I Got A Boy’ activities ended within a month’s time. What is your overall comment on it?
– It was the most fun album promotion up to now! Seems that those stages allowed me to enjoy and express myself freely. We exchanged eye contacts, changed gestures, the lyrics was interesting too… After taking off heels, I became a naughty girl.

2. You started the first concert of Japan tour last weekend, and is going around Japanese cities for the next 2 months.
– Comeback in January, and Japan tour in February, we are spending new year in an eventful way. Concert is where we always receive whole lot of energy, I look forward more to it in the future. (CECI: Fans in Korea will be sad.) Although the date isn’t fixed officially, we will perhaps meet Korean fans too at the concert!

3. Acting, stage performance, variety show… What is Seohyun’s next step?
– I want to try all. Because my life is still long. (laughs) Looking at Unnies’ challenges, I have my own dream too. If I can grab good chances, I want to try acting or musical.

4. I felt that Seohyun in TTS is stronger than SNSD’s Seohyun.
– Since it was the first unit activity, the burden was huge. But it was fun! As I stood on the stage, I had greater ambition. What’s amazing is that when we were 3, we missed the days with 9 members. And when we are 9, we also miss the stages with 3 members. Nothing can match the energy you have on a stage of 9, yet you can be wild and free when you have 3 members.

5. You are ‘disciplined maknae’ in SNSD, was your role in TTS different when you are with the 2 unnies?
– No, it’s the same. I’m always the maknae. Maknae who nags.

6. Some days ago you were said as the ‘maknae who drives unnies crazy’ in a show.
– They did that just for fun. Just like how they chit-chat usually. (CECI: Do they always make fun of each other?) Of course! Usually it’s even more serious. (laughs)

7. We want to hear your explanation of the ‘dining picture’ revealed some days ago.
– It’s a picture taken in our Japan dorm on Yuri unnie’s birthday. We dined together as a birthday party. I had a mask on in the picture and it’s quite embarrassing. At Japan, we stay in the same house and there were no individual activities, so we got closer. When we say let’s talk for 5 minutes, we always end up talking for 5 hours.

8. In the previous interview with Ceci you said that you want to experience more new stuffs, are you doing that now?
– Although I did not do it because I was busy, I enjoyed life. My skills to be mischievous improved and I’m getting more mischievous towards unnies. When I’m stressed I tend to want to rest or be free, recently I came to comprehend the way to enjoy while doing work. Back then I tried had to enjoy, but recently it got more natural. ‘Ah, I’m actually enjoying it’, I will be surprised by this. Unnies also tell me often that I have changed.

9. You are 23 years old now. Do you feel that you are a real adult (society person) now?
– After debut, I always feel that ‘I look forward to next year’, as I do this, I did not have a sense of time at all.  When we went to music programmes in the past it’s natural that we see 14-15 sunbaes (seniors), but this time, we saw no more than 4-5 sunbaes. At times like this, I will be surprised.

10. Now, SNSD is one of the ’14-15 sunbaes’ to your juniors.
– That’s why. And we are the really aged ones among them… (laughs)

11. Is there something that you will never want to lose not as Seohyun, but Seo Juhyun?
– I want to be Seo Juhyun who does something stubbornly when she says ‘let’s do it’. Ah, and people think that I’m a very ‘textbook’ type of person, I’m not. There are many ‘free’ sides of me. It’s something different between Seohyun and Seo Ju-hyun. I hope that Seohyun can become more like Seo Juhyun. And I’m moving towards that direction.

12. It’ll be March soon. When spring comes, what do you wish to do?
– Go for a drive. I obtained my driving license when I was 21. (CECI: Then you have to own an open car?) I guess so. But it’s okay if it’s a truck!

Girls’ Generation / So Nyuh Shi Dae (Hangul: 소녀시대; Hanja: 少女時代) Chinese name Shao Nü Shi Dai, Japanese name ShouJo JiDai is a South Korean nine-member girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2007. The group officially debuted on August 5, 2007.

The members include (in order of official announcement) Yoona, Tiffany, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Seohyun, Taeyeon (the leader), Jessica, and Sunny. International Girls’ Generation fans usually refer to the group as SNSD, the acronym of the group’s Korean name So Nyeo Shi Dae. Many of the members had already pursued an entertainment career before Girls’ Generation’s debut through acting, DJ-ing, and modeling. Their official fanclub is known as S♡NE (소원) also one of the titles of a song from their first album. Girls’ Generation sold 100,000 copies of their album in South Korea, being the first girl group to do so since 2002.

Jessica also starred in Jo Han Kim’s music video “Love is Late, I’m Sorry” and Super Junior M’s ‘Super Girl’.

Sunny

Sunny was born in the United States, when she was still an infant they moved to Kuwait and then to South Korea during the Gulf War.

Sunny was a trainee under a different entertainment company before she transferred into SM Entertainment. After several months of training under SM Entertainment in 2007, Sunny debuted as a member of Girls’ Generation that same year. She is the niece of SM Entertainment’s CEO, Lee Soo Man, and her father was once the manager of the disbanded K-pop girl group Sugar. She was a co-DJ of Reckless Radio along with Sungmin of Super Junior until the broadcast ended on the July 30, 2008. Sunny appeared in Super Junior-H’s music video for “Cooking? Cooking!”. Sunny also sang the song “Finally Now” on the soundtrack for the movie Story of Wine.

Tiffany

Day 17: Bittersweet

Seventeen again..

Al-Qariah is finished, now moving on to Al-Adiyat (war Horse)

Sucsessfully maintained a succession of 5 days mandatory prayer..three more days before a guaranteed place in Heaven (wait, where did i hear this before?) :p

Tarawih prayer also maintained at a steady pace, though still not everyday…

 

Now for the blogging part, Just a few hours ago, a very sweet, yet quite bitter news approached me. Yes, as you can see in the post below, SNSD is coming to Indonesia as a part of SM Town world tour, next September. It is one hell of a good news of course, for my goddess to step her feet in my country..

So this is the country where my fan who keeps post a blog about me lives…

But i don’t think i can make it to Jakarta…as unemployed as i am, i can’t afford the ticket…Based on empirical research on previous L’arc~en~ciel concert, to to rip a concert to its maximum sensation, you have to be in the best class available, purely because of the distance to the stage. When you’re in festival, you just can’t differentiate wether it’s SNSD or just the background dancer performing on the stage, and the big screen is your only hope. And i don’t want to stand for nearly 8 hours to see my idol performing on screen..i can do it back home..

The other reason is, it’s not the girl’s concert, it’s SM TOWN’s..and i’m not willing to sell my PS3 for Siwon, or Boa, or Yunho, and the other group…So for now, i just hope that the concert will be a blast, and SM decide to hold the girl’s concert some months later..^_^…

TaeTiSeo (TTS) Twinkle Mini Album Review (Pt.1)

April 29th was a big day for me, or maybe for most of you, for it was the day when TaeTiSeo released  their first mini album, titled Twinkle. TaeTiSeo is an SNSD’s sub-unit consist of Taeyeon, Tiffany, and my Hyun (hence this sub unit is a real dream team for me, for Tiffany and Taeyeon are the 2nd and 3rd best member in my list).

Some beginner or noob fans if i may say (sorry if this offend anyone) were having quite a useless fuss. They went by saying ‘oh no, is this the end of SNSD?’ ‘they’re going their separate ways’ ‘SM prepared a future job when they’re not SNSD anymore’ and so on..Well, listen this and listen well guys, sub unit is a common occurrence in Asian entertainment, especially in idol section. Japanese idol has done it numerous time since the beginning of time. For the agency, sub unit is just the means to collect more revenue and milk the fans. and for fans, it means more show and air time for us, which is good!

Leave that aside for now, have you bought the mini album? And for you who have downloaded it instead, please support TTS by also buying the official album from itunes. ^_^..Speaking of iTunes, last time checked, Twinkle was ranked 4th in the US iTunes Chart! no wonder though, this is the three best voice of SNSD we’re talking about. If you’re wondering how the album sounds, i’ll give a brief review about it:

The signature song, Twinkle, is a up beat blues / soul kind of song, with a heavy influence of funk. This is the kind of song that you’ll hear in an urban american club, with a live music in it. This song really showed off TTS singing capability, with deep high note, abundant vibration, a bit screaming here and there, all with a stable pitch. It resembles the way Christina Aguilera sings nowadays i think (minus the vulgar appearance). Just listen to it will make your body move by itself. It’s an effective mood booster for your morning ! ^_^

the second track, is quite a sharp turn, a very nice piano accompanied (along with a handclapping sound) ballad, titled Baby Step. Having heard this song, i realized why Jessica wasn’t included in this ‘vocal’ aces sub-unit. As great as Jessica voice is, it wouldn’t blend well and become as harmonious as TTS alone, simply put, Sica voice was too ‘thin’ (in a good way) compared to the three deep voice. Again, you’ll hear Screaming here and there in this track.

 

5 tracks too go, but it looks like  i don’t have anymore airtime, for i haven’t pack my luggage for tomorrow trip to Jakarta. So, let’s continue the review next time!

Download your Dream

Finally, the HLJ contest has wrapped up, so i can continue my other life aside from being a Gupla Builder…And for a teaser, here is the finished kit that i submitted just a couple minutes before the deadline:

It always nice to be back writing here after a long pause, since there’s so many idea popped up in my cerebral cell during all the building, and for the opening post, let me tell you a beautiful yet hugely disappointing experienced that happened just two days ago…

Long story short, while was enjoying my nap, i have this amazingly real dream that i was Seo Hyun’s Boyfriend!!!! Most of you probably already know that she’s my favorite SNSD member, as well as imaginary girlfriend..kekekeke

For some of you that do not know who Seo Hyun is, well look at these

Continue with the story, in that dream, looks like i was accompanying  her in one of SNSD Concert, since the dream take place in a hotel, and i also met Tiffany and Taeyeon. I was having some conversation with Hyun, while preparing her costume (now that i see it, i don’t know if i was her boyfriend, or her assistant) .The most distinguished feature of a dream is the ‘virtual  reality feeling’ we did not encounter in normal imagination. I’ve imagined doing many things with Seo Hyun (no, not that pervert imagination, i swear), but none of them compared to this dream. In the dream, the normal conversation with Hyun really pierced through my heart…

But, soon a familiar voice echoed in the hotel, followed by an enormous earthquake, and ZAP! There i was again, half awaken in my bedroom, with my mom telling me to put my motorcycle back in the garage, since it’s already late.

I almost cry at that time, didn.t want to believe that the brief encounter with Hyun is just a dream. I hurriedly put Miyabi (my motorcyle if you remember) back to her place, and rushed back to sleep, hoping that i can continue the dream…..well, it failed. the next dream i have is being chased by a stranger in a shotgun, all around a half empty amusement park..T_T

This is my first time having a dream about Hyun and SNSD, i think it’s happened because earlier that morning, my sister bought me this:

Hhhhhh, if only we can download our preferred dream, and play it back it any time we want…
